Hi Reader, Welcome back to The Clarity Letter. We're getting closer to the end of the year. And around this time, conversations naturally start shifting toward 2027. New goals. New revenue targets. New programs. New hires. New clients. New initiatives. I love those conversations. But there's another question I think deserves a seat at the planning table: What are we carrying into 2027 that we've already outgrown? Maybe it's the spreadsheet that made perfect sense when there were 20 clients. Now there are 200. Maybe it's the approval process created when the team had three people. Now there are twelve. Maybe it's the founder still personally following up on every opportunity. Maybe reporting still requires someone to spend half a day compiling information. Maybe your team has grown, while most of the processes still live inside people's heads. None of these things mean the organization has been doing something wrong. Quite the opposite. Sometimes an old process is simply evidence that you've grown. The question is whether the way you operate is growing with you. That's why I think year-end planning should include more than: What do we want to achieve next year? It should also include: How do we need to operate to achieve it? What needs simplifying? What needs documenting? What needs automating? What needs clearer ownership? What information should become easier to see? What should your team be able to handle confidently? What should leadership have more capacity for? Those questions are where transformation often begins. Because your 2027 goals will eventually become someone's Monday morning workflow. And the way that workflow is designed will influence how easily the strategy becomes reality. So before adding another goal to next year's plan, ask: What needs to work differently for this goal to become easier to execute? If you're already thinking about what needs to change operationally before 2027, this is a great time for us to talk. During a 30-minute Execution Consultation, we can look at where you are, where you're heading, and which workflow, system or operational improvements could create the most leverage going into the new year.

Hi Reader, Welcome back to The Clarity Letter. One of my favorite moments in this work is watching someone experience a process after it has been redesigned. Because sometimes the transformation sounds almost too simple. Something that once required: Opening a spreadsheet. Checking another system. Copying information. Sending an email. Creating a reminder. Following up later. Updating the spreadsheet again. …becomes one connected workflow. Information comes in. It goes where it belongs. The...
Hi Reader, Welcome back to The Clarity Letter. A while ago, I was looking at a process with a team when the Chief Executive Officer said something that made me smile: “I know we have a system for this somewhere…” And there it was. The organization had tools. Plenty of them. A CRM. Spreadsheets. Shared folders. Forms. Email. A project management platform. Each one had been introduced for a good reason. But over time, the team had created its own ways of getting things done. One person tracked...
Hi Reader, Welcome back to The Clarity Letter. Here’s a question I’ve been thinking about as we enter the final stretch of 2026: What would happen if you stepped away from your business for one week? Would work continue moving? Would your team know what to prioritize? Would leads still receive follow-ups? Would clients know what happens next? Would approvals move forward? Would you return to a business that continued operating… or an inbox filled with things waiting for you? I’ve worked...
